I’m so confused. A Muslim group put up a sign, saying we need Sharia law to protect us from LGBT+ indoctrination. So an anti-Muslim group, who are also anti-LGBT+, scrubbed out the Arabic, to convey that Western values, not Sharia law, will protect us from LGBT+ indoctrination. This is my question. In my opinion piece for the Guardian do I just criticise the homophobia or do I also criticise the ‘cultural erasure’ committed by the anti-Muslim group for scrubbing out the Arabic? Might just keep it simple and blame the Jews.

Well. if you blame the Jews, it's obviously the fault of the Hassidics. The Ashkenazi are mostly blameless and the Sephardics are too lovely to be involved. I thought that would have been obvious!
Tricky. Rather you than me to be honest. If you pull this one off a promotion to Detective Sergeant might be order.
(I suspect something just describing your dilemma and condemning all hatred will be best)
